The Lodge has use of a river frontage when booked in conjunction with the house but if let independently of Dinckley Court guests have use of their own private garden only albeit with stunning views.

Double doors open onto a decked terrace, with further outside tables and seating within the garden. Perfect for that early morning coffee or glass of wine whilst watching the sun set in the evening or the swans glide by.

The main area of the lodge comprises of an open plan living, dining and modern high gloss kitchen, with wooden flooring throughout. With Wi-Fi, TV, DVD and I Pod docking station it is the perfect environment for relaxing get-together, special occasion or just because…

The property sleeps 6, comprising of beautiful 1 master bedroom and 2 further fabulous double rooms, all overlooking the river all with en-suite facilities and individual doors leading directly on to terrace. Every room has a panoramic view of the Thames.

Contemporarily furnished to a high standard, Lodge makes a perfect retreat for families and small groups of 6/8 seeking that something a little exclusive and secluded, yet only 7 miles to Oxford city centre and 45 minutes from London. Situated within the small hamlet of Burcot on Thames.

Walking distance of good local The Chequers and the Seven Stars As well as other excellent establishments such as The Crazy Bear, The Manoir Quatre De Saison.

During the Summer months the garden & grounds provide the perfect setting for Al-fresco dining, barbecues and picnics with the breathtaking view of the river. All large supermarkets deliver supplies to Dinckley Lodge and for special occasions we can recommend bespoke catering services.

During the Winter months it is a romantic retreat or just weekend to get away from it all whilst enjoying the delights of Autumn, Winter or Spring.

Local attractions include a Salters Steamer Boat, which can be caught from Oxford and back to Days Lock and a walk taken back to Dinckley Lodge, or Nuneham Courtney’s arboretum can be visited - full of amazing trees, plants and beautiful peacocks.
